Bovada Bitcoin Withdrawal What You’re Going To Need

- A crypto wallet—this is where you’ll withdraw your Bitcoin winnings to, and
- An exchange account—we like Coinbase, but there are several options out there, and
- ID verification documents—a driver’s licence or passport should suffice. You’ll need this if Bovada do a random ID verification check.

Quick tip: If you’re setting up your exchange account right now, be sure to select investing when asked how you plan to use the app / website.
Step 1. Withdraw Bitcoin From Bovada
The first step in withdrawing our funds is the obvious one: cashing out our winnings from the Bovada sportsbook. On the plus side—this is a straightforward process.
On the negative side—it can take up to 48 hours to process a withdrawal from Bovada to a digital or crypto wallet.
- Login to your crypto wallet online or open the app on your device.
- Navigate to the receive funds page.
- Copy your wallet address—it will look like a randomly generated code of upper and lower case letters and numbers.
- Login to your Bovada account
- Navigate to the Withdraw page
- In the dropdown menu, select Bitcoin as your withdrawal type
- In the Wallet Address field, paste the wallet address you copied from your crypto wallet
- Enter the amount (in USD) you want to withdraw from your Bovada account
- If prompted, enter your 4-digit security number and / or ID verification
- Check the box to agree to the standard Bovada terms and conditions
- Click the Request Withdrawal button
From here, Bovada will take you to a confirmation screen. Typically, withdrawals from Bovada can take anywhere from 1 to 48 hours—you can expect an email from the sportsbook to let you know when the withdrawal has been processed.
Step 2. Send Bitcoin to Your Crypto Exchange Account
Once the Bitcoin withdrawal from Bovada has been processed, it’s time for the next step.
Heads Up:
Your withdrawal may be up (or down) by a few dollars. That’s normal, because Bitcoin is a decentralized, dynamic cryptocurrency and its price fluctuates from one hour to the next.
- Login to your crypto exchange account
- Navigate to your Bitcoin (BTC) wallet in your exchange account and copy the BTC wallet address or QR code
- Login to your crypto wallet, where your Bitcoin funds are waiting
- Navigate to the Send Funds page
- Paste the BTC wallet address you copied earlier into the To / Send To field
- Key in the BTC value you wish to send, or click use total spendable balance if required
- Follow any prompts to select a miner’s fee or time-sensitive delivery fee
- Confirm the transaction by clicking send
Step 3. Exchange Bitcoin for US Dollars
You can’t send Bitcoin to an eWallet or bank account, so the next step is to do a cryptocurrency conversion. You can do this within your crypto exchange account by following these steps:
- Login to your crypto exchange account
- Navigate to Bitcoin (BTC) wallet
- Click on Sell
- Set your amount or select Sell max
- Preview your settings and click Confirm
- The majority of crypto Exchange apps will take you to a final confirmation page—if yours does, click Confirm sale
Crypto to cash conversions are instant.
Step 4. Withdraw Your Funds
We’re almost done—all that’s left to do is send your freshly converted USD to your bank account or e-wallet. The process may vary slightly depending on where you’re sending your funds, but essentially, here’s what you need to do:
- Login to your crypto exchange account
- Navigate to your cash account—this may appear as Cash (USD) or similar
- Click Withdraw and select the account you wish to transfer the cash to
Quick tip: If you haven’t set up a default bank account or e-wallet account already, you’ll need to do that in Settings.
Final Thoughts
That’s it! Now you know how to do a Bovada Bitcoin withdrawal. Not only is it a simple 4-step process, it’s also cheap on fees, and one of the quickest ways to get your winnings into a cash account.
