250K Bracket Madness Contest

General Rules

The $250,000 Bracket Madness Contest opens for pre-purchase of entries on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, and closes on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 12:15 pm ET.

All entries purchased after this point will be considered void and not eligible for any prizes.

The bracket officially opens for selections on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 9 pm ET and closes on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 12:30 pm ET.

The Contest begins with the First Round of the 2023 Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

Once you submit your selections, you can change your picks at any time until the bracket submission deadline at 12:30 pm ET on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

If your bracket is not completed by 12:30 pm ET on Thursday, March 16, 2023. your entry will be void and eliminated from the contest.

Round Dates: First Round (March 16-17), Second Round (March 18-19), Sweet 16 (March 23-24), Elite 8 (March 25 & 26), Final Four (April 1), and Championship (April 3).

Only fully completed brackets qualify for the contest prizes.

Entries are available only online and cannot be purchased by phone or live chat.

House rules and regulations apply.

We reserve the right to amend the contest, prizes, and terms at anytime.

Winners will be notified by Email and posted on a Leaderboard. It is the entrant's sole responsibility to keep their account information up-to-date and accurate.

Contestants can enter the $250,000 Bracket Madness Contest up to 20 times and receive a discount on every additional entry purchased.

• 3rd Entry: $15
• 4th to 10th Entry: $10 each
• 11th to 20th Entry: $5 each

Entries may only be purchased with real cash funds.

All entry purchases will be deducted from your BetOnline Sportsbook balance.

If you do not purchase all 20 entries, you can return and purchase more entries at any time until the deadline – Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 12:15 pm (ET).

Registration for the contests is only available online. You cannot register via phone, chat, or email.

All sales are final. Refunds are only offered if the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is canceled.

How to Play

Participants must purchase at least one entry to participate in the $250,000 Bracket Madness Contest.

After purchasing entries, players can view and edit their entries in the ‘My Brackets’ section.

Participants must pick the winners of all 63 games in the 2023 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Tournament, beginning with the First Round.

Points will be awarded for each correct pick.

If a team withdraws from the tournament before Thursday, March 16, that team will be removed from the bracket, and the selected replacement team will be inserted. If you wish to change your selections, you may do so at any time before the bracket submission deadline at 12:30 pm ET on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

Once the tournament begins, in the unlikely case that there are forfeits, the team that forfeits will be graded as a loss.

Point System

1 point for every correct selection in the 1st Round
2 points for every correct selection in the 2nd Round
4 points for every correct selection in the Sweet 16
8 points for every correct selection in the Elite 8
16 points for every correct selection in the Final Four
32 points for picking the winner of the Championship Game

If the tie-breaker is necessary, participants will be ranked based on having the closest answer to the Total Points Scored in the Championship Game.

If various participants remain tied after the tie-breaker, the winnings will be split along with the next lowest prize.

Example: If two contestants tie for first with 160 points, they will split the 1st and 2nd Place prizes; the participant with the next highest point total will win the 3rd Place prize.

Winnings will be deposited into player accounts within 72 hours after completing the 2023 NCAA Men’s Championship Basketball game on Monday, April 3, 2023.
