Phoenix Suns @ Brooklyn Nets Odds

The Phoenix Suns are a very motivational story this season. The team has been struggling to rebuild for the last few seasons now and it didn’t seem like anything they were doing was actually working. There were countless first round picks and signing but they were still in the cellar of the Western Conference.

That all changed this year though, when they made the move to pair Devin Booker with the veteran point guard Chris Paul.

Paul’s presence on the court has taken this team to not only a new level, but to the top of the conference. They are currently second in the West behind only the Utah Jazz, and its only by a few games.

Paul is not only a pest on the defensive end, but he is one of the best passers of all time, so when teams have to double team him to stop him from scoring, he often kicks out a beautiful pass to an open teammate who knocks down the shot.

It has allowed guys like Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton to play the game of basketball that they want to play without having to try too hard to get more done.

The Suns also have players like Mikal Bridges and Jae Crowder who fly under the radar when looking at their roster. They are a very tough team to beat but so are the Nets.

[su_panel color=”#00000″ border=”4px solid #00329A”]Brooklyn basketball took a massive turn in the offseason after the acquisitions of not one, not two, but three superstar players. The team signed Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in the offseason then traded for James Harden about a few weeks in. [/su_panel]

There is basically no team in the league that is able to take them down when all three of those guys are on the floor at the same time. But luckily, they never are.

All three have suffered various injuries but don’t be fooled, they are no easy win even missing two of those guys.

Brooklyn was able to get Blake Griffin in the buyout market, they have the sharpshooter Joe Harris and up and coming star Nic Claxton to give them some help.

But even with all the roster moves lately they are still second in the Eastern Conference in overall record but have flipped back and forth with the 76ers for the top spot.

These two teams will make for a fantastic game barring any injury setbacks for either team. I would expect that Harden doesn’t make it for this game after reaggravating his hamstring injury that he suffered a few weeks ago but both Irving and Durant should be good to go.

Phoenix should have their full roster ready to go as well, which means we could see a Finals preview if all things go the way these teams want it.

Phoenix does everything at a high level and they have excellent chemistry while the Nets primarily beat their opponents by having the most efficient and effective offense the NBA has ever seen before.
