Philadelphia 76ers @ Milwaukee Bucks Odds

We are going to start our Philadelphia 76ers @ Milwaukee Bucks prediction by breaking this game down position by position.

When you look at the point guards for either team, you will see that they each have great efficiency and production when healthy.

For the 76ers, they have Ben Simmons and Shake Milton running the point. Simmons has been in and out of the starting lineup for a while now but is an excellent defender and distributor of the basketball while Milton can score and distribute as well.

Holiday is similar to Simmons except he is shorter and has a much better three-point shot. He provides excellent defense for the Bucks while also giving you extra scoring that is badly needed, just like what Forbes does for this team.[/su_panel]

The shooting guard position is almost a wash for either team because neither of them have players that truly stand out, though a big performance from them could definitely turn the tides in their team’s favor.

As for the small forward spot, the Bucks have Khris Middleton while the 76ers have Danny Green.
Middleton has the edge here with his defensive ability along with his chemistry with Giannis Antetokounmpo that seems to make him a great second scoring option.

Green is more of a role player than superstar and is known for his streaky shooting, he could be big but not nearly as valuable as Middleton.

Moving onto the power forward position, this is a tricky one.

The 76ers are more than likely to play Tobias Harris at the four spot with Giannis taking over the position for Milwaukee.

Don’t get me wrong, Harris is an excellent shooter and can easily work some magic to get his own shot. But he is nowhere near the planet that Giannis is on, both offensively and defensively.

Antetokounmpo has been dropping insane numbers the past few years and is unstoppable in the paint, even picking up a bit of a three-point shot along the way. He is also lengthy and quick on his feet to make plays defensively for his team.

Bucks for sure win this position.

Lastly, we have the center spot, with Brook Lopez spotting in for Milwaukee and Joel Embiid for Philadelphia. This one shouldn’t take much explanation.

  • Lopez isn’t a great rebounder but is a good rim protector with a decent three-point shot.
  • Meanwhile, Embiid is an MVP candidate this year and has yet to be slowed down this season.

This is going to be a very close game throughout as both teams are evenly matched and just played one another earlier in the week.

[su_panel border=”4px solid #cc0000″]This will feature the reigning two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo against the potential MVP this season in Joel Embiid, with these two expected to drop insane numbers here, it will be up to the bench and the role player to step up and make an impact here.[/su_panel] Get NBA OddsGet NBA Odds
