2019 NFL Week 6 ATS Betting Picks.

NFL Week 6 Odds, Preview & Expert ATS Betting Picks

One of the things that makes the NFL so good is that there is a pretty dent level of parity going on at the moment. As we head into NFL Week 6 of the season, there are now just two teams sitting with unbeaten records, with that number potentially dropping to one on Monday night. The New England Patriots went a perfect 5-0 with a win over Washington on Sunday, while the 49ers will have a shot at staying unbeaten when they face the Cleveland Browns on Monday night.

We will be watching that one, but we are also looking ahead to Week 6, which means that it’s time to start talking about our NFL Betting picks for the coming week. Let’s get the ball rolling with NFL Week 6 ATS selections.

2019 NFL Week 6 ATS Betting Picks

Houston Texans (+6) at Kansas City Chiefs in NFL Week 6

This is one where the trends are still important, but which could be decided based on the status of Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs took their first loss in Week 5, going down to the Indianapolis Colts, with their star QB struggling through the entire game. To be fair, he looked a little hobbled in the second half after getting his ankle rolled up on.

The question now is just how mobile he will be this coming weekend versus the Texans. Houston is just 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games versus the Chiefs, but they looked great in a big win over Atlanta last weekend. I’m taking the Texans to cover.

NFL Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Texans are 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games against Kansas City
  • Texans are 7-13 ATS in their last 20 games against an opponent in the AFC West division
  • Chiefs are 6-3 ATS in their last 9 games played in week 6

New Orleans Saints (-1) at Jacksonville Jaguars in NFL Week 6

The belief was that the New Orleans Saints might be in trouble without Drew Brees, who is out injured, but they have continued to win, moving to 4-1 on the season. The Jaguars have had QB issues for as long as anyone can remember, but they have a good thing going right now with Gardner Minshew under center.

This is an intriguing match-up for many different reasons, and what we basically have here is a pick play. The Saints are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings with the Jags, so they look like a good pick.

NFL Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Saints are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games
  • Saints are 13-1 ATS in their last 14 games played in October
  • Jaguars are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against an opponent in the NFC conference
  • Jaguars are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games against an opponent in the NFC South division

Atlanta Falcons (-1 ½) at Arizona Cardinals in NFL Week 6

We are not that deep into the new season, but we are already seeing some coaching seats get warmer. The Redskins fired coach Gruden over the weekend and the heat is on coach Quinn in Atlanta after the Falcons slipped to 1-4 on the season. The Falcons will be in Arizona this coming weekend as they look to right the ship a little.

The Cardinals are no favorites against the Falcons in NFL Week 6.

The road has not been kind to the Falcons, as they have covered just once in their last 8 games away from home. That said, they are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 versus the Cardinals, and with a spread this small, they look like a good bet.

NFL Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Falcons are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games
  • Falcons are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games against Arizona
  • Cardinals are 4-2 ATS in their last 6 games
  • Cardinals are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games at home

Dallas Cowboys (-8 ½) at New York Jets in NFL Week 6

It’s not yet time to push the panic button is Dallas, but the Cowboys team of the last 2 weeks looks pretty far removed from the one that looked great in jumping out to a 3-0 start.

They have had back to back losses, but they should be able to feel better this weekend against a Jets team that has just 1 win in their last 10 games overall. The Cowboys are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 versus the Jets, as well as being 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings with the Jets on the road.

NFL Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Cowboys are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games when playing on the road against NY Jets
  • Cowboys are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games played in October
  • Jets are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games
  • Jets are 6-3 ATS in their last 9 games played in week 6
