A pair of unbeaten, 14-0 teams will meet at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome with hopes of being the 2019-20 college football national champions. The LSU Tigers had the No. 1 offense in the nation this year, racking up 48.9 points per game while the Clemson Tigers had college football’s best defense, restricting their opponents to a measly 10.6 ppg. Online sportsbooks are favoring offense over the defense and have made LSU the 5.5-point favorites with the total coming in at 68.5 points.
However, if you are looking for wagers outside of the sides and totals don’t worry, BetOnline has a list of prop bets, such as “Will President Trump congratulate the winning team on Twitter?”, to help you enjoy this game even more. I am going list the props below, as well as highlight a few plays that I like for this matchup.

National Title Prop Picks
There appears to be a few slam dunks in the listed props and the first one that I really like is “Will home-field advantage be said during the broadcast?” The Yes for this option is coming in at -140 with the No coming back at +100. The reason why I believe this is a strong play is that the Mercedes-Benz Superdome is in New Orleans, Louisiana and who is participating in this national title game… the Louisiana State Tigers. Additionally, after the New Orleans Saints were eliminated from the NFL playoffs, LSU has been spending time at the facility in the leadup to this game so I’m sure the broadcasters will make mention of this having a home-field advantage feel.
The second prop that I like is “Will President Trump sing along to the national anthem?” The Yes option for this prop is -200 and the No is +150. Now, you may not want to hear the president belt out The Star Spangled Banner, however, the most recent sightings of the POTUS at sporting events has seen him doing exactly that. Trump was seen singing the national anthem at the Army/Navy game as well as the LSU/Alabama game earlier in the season. The president has already announced that he will be in attendance for the game so keep your eyes peeled for a singing president.
