We've assembled the following comparison of the two DFS titans. Draftkings Sportsbook vs. FanDuel Sportsbook in New Jersey

Both companies now have sports betting sites and apps in New Jersey.

DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook are both planning to roll out in other states, but for now they are just a part of the NJ sports betting market.

DraftKings was first to market, and has created its own platform that many NJ bettors enjoy. FanDuel came almost a month later, but it has one of the best platforms available.

DraftKings vs. FanDuel: Where can you play?

Where you can play DraftKings and FanDuel is pretty much the same in North America.

You can plan in about 80 percent of the states in the US for both platforms. The only difference is Texas, where DraftKings still accepts users and FanDuel does not (for legal reasons).

Internationally, both sites Canada and much of the US. DraftKings also serves the UK, Germany, Malta, Austria, Ireland and Australia.

DraftKings vs FanDuel: Comparing the companies

DraftKings is currently the biggest DFS operator in terms of users as guaranteed prize pools, after FanDuel had led the industry for much of the start of the industry. The two companies had planned to merge in 2017, but that fell through.

Both companies have started trying to innovate their product in recent years after years of sticking with the base “salary-cap” model for years. They both also offer single-game fantasy contests, something which was not a part of the DFS landscape for most of its existence.

DraftKings, for its part, has its eyes on the potential of a legal sports betting market in the US. FanDuel likely has similar designs, but hasn't vocalized them.
