  1. Odds are terrible for a bet on Tiger. Bookies are about to make all that money they lost and some from the masters.

    Xander Schauffele or Brooks

  2. I like Sergio Garcia for some type of bet, maybe a Top 10 at +400? He’s played well at Bethpage before (4th, 2002 U.S. Open; T10, 2009 U.S. Open; T3, 2012 Barclays) and has two Top 5 finishes since missing the cut at the Masters.

  3. I think I’m going to take Koepka +105 vs. McIlroy. Honestly the more I look at this the more confused I am by the odds. Koepka has been notoriously lights out in majors where Rory has been a downright bum at the US Open/PGA Championship both for the past 3 years, to me that indicates bad prep for circulating American tournaments (you don’t really have the same problem when you play Augusta over and over again). They’re both in great form so that isn’t an issue. I’d say it’s a +EV play just due to Brooks being criminally underrated by these odds.

  4. Xander Schauffele, or Rickie Fowler, both have been playing relatively great golf and on FanDuel Sportsbook they both have decent odds.

    Xander Schauffele +3300
    Rickie Fowler +2200

I’ll be putting 10u on each of them. (My units are 10$ a unit)

    Payouts for each:

    Schauffele (3300$)
    Fowler (2200$)

    Tail at your own risk.

May have some more picks as the week goes on so I will update this post if I decide to add some more.

  5. R/sportscontests has the PGA Championship Contest up now. The Masters contest had a great crowd and a fun setup. If this is something you may be interested in, use the contact info there. Good luck whether you’re in or not!

  6. Any thoughts on no Hole-in-Ones @ -120? Cannot find any historical data on aces at Bethpage, but given that 3/4 of the par 3’s play at 200+ yards, I feel that it’s not terrible odds.
