**Reminder:** Use the **Brag and Bitch Daily** for heavy bitching about personal bets especially before games are finished. Constructive live/post game discussion is encouraged.

    Posting late. Keeping it short.

**Royals** at -138 for 3 units. Shelby Miller has given up 53 baserunners in 27 innings pitched this season. Fading him and the Rangers tonight.

**Giants** at -125 for 3 units. Trent Thornton is 0-4 this season. He is starting for the Blue Jays against SF tonight.

MLB Player Props: Tuesday, May 14… Can Andrew Cashner Punch Out 5 Yankees?

Cashner has increased his strikeout totals this season, causing oddsmakers to post a higher line than usual.

While the juice on his prop implies he will strike out 5.0. I would bet this under down into the -125 range.

    What do you all think?

I’m thinking Cashner will try to redeem himself and Happ get blasted by the heart of the BAL lineup.

    Model Record: 59-48 +6.77U.

    Cubs -123 vs. Reds//1U.
Kyle Hendricks has erased a slow start with three scoreless outings in his last four appearencecs to lower his ERA to 3.19 with a 3.06 FIP for the season. Tanner Roark has been a nice addition for the Reds with 0.9 WAR in his first 41.1 innings, but the Cincinnati bats just can’t get going with a team wRC+ of 80 for the season.

    Rays -132 vs. Marlins//1U.
I make this pick fully aware of Caleb Smith’s excellence, he’s really the only bright spot in Miami this year, but the Marlins’ offense is next-level bad and is going to have major trouble scratching out anything against Tampa Bay’s pitching staff. Ageless wonder Charlie Morton hasn’t been too shabby himself with a 62ERA-/67FIP-, as the strikeout gains he found in Houston seemed to have stuck. Smith will need to be just about perfect, and that’s a tough ask against a deep Tampa Bay lineup.

    Blue Jays +103 vs. Giants//1U.
Toronto is awful at 16-24 but it’s not like the Giants are much better at 17-23, with both teams among the league’s worst offenses. Nick Vincent will open before giving the ball to Tyler Beede, who has been roughed up badly in 12 innings of major league experience. While Trent Thornton hasn’t been good overall with a 116 ERA-/107FIP-, he’s enjoyed a handful of decent starts including throwing seven scoreless innings in Texas two weeks ago.
