The Portland Trail Blazers will be looking to tally a seventh straight victory over Oklahoma City when they host the conference rival Thunder on Friday in a contest set as a pick'em on the NBA odds.

In addition to rewarding bettors with against-the-spread victories in each of their six recent wins over Oklahoma City, Portland has regularly outclassed the Thunder in meetings on home hardwood, racking up straight-up wins in each of their past eight ahead of Friday night's game at Moda Center.

While the Trail Blazers' lengthy home win streak against Oklahoma City also includes three outright victories as betting underdogs, the club has struggled on home hardwood since the start of the holiday season, going 2-2 SU in their past four while producing just one ATS win in NBA basketball betting.

However, the Portland offense has been getting it done during a brief two-game SU win streak. The Trail Blazers dominated the visiting Philadelphia 76ers in a 129-95 win as 3-point home chalk on December 30 before ushering in 2019 with a 113-108 win in Sacramento as a narrow 1-point road favorite on the NBA odds on New Year's Day.

Portland's recent surge extends a solid 9-5 SU run that comes on the heels of a worrisome late-November 1-6 SU swoon. And while the Trail Blazers remain in the thick of a tight race in the Western Conference standings, the team has enjoyed little movement on the NBA championship odds, where they remain stalled at a lengthy +7000.

The Thunder travel to Portland riding a brief two-game SU and ATS win streak, capped by Wednesday's 107-100 win over the Los Angeles Lakers as 5-point road chalk on the NBA betting lines. Oklahoma City has been a model of consistency since overcoming a season-opening 0-4 SU slide, recording consecutive SU losses just once while going 24-9 SU.

That steady play has kept Oklahoma City in a three-way neck-and-neck race with Golden State and Denver for top spot in the Western Conference standings, but the Thunder remain a lengthy +1100 wager in NBA betting to capture the Western crown, and trail the favorites at +2000 odds to claim this season's NBA title.

Celtics Looking to Continue Home Win Streak

Earlier on Friday night, the Boston Celtics look extend their current SU win streak on home court to four games as they host the struggling Dallas Mavericks.

The Celtics opened 2019 on a winning note, knocking off the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves 115-102 as 6.5-point favorites on the NBA odds on Wednesday, but are a middling 5-4 SU in their past nine games against Western Conference opponents.

Boston has been a much more reliable wager in totals betting. The Celtics have scored 111 or more points in each of the contests during their current 4-2 SU run, fueling a 7-0 run for the OVER, which has also paid out in 17 of the club's past 21 outings.

While the Mavericks arrive in Boston on a respectable 3-2 SU run, SU wins have eluded them when the total finishes OVER, with the team going 1-6 SU in their past seven such outings.

The road has also been particularly unkind to Dallas, which halted a nine-game slide with Wednesday's 122-84 victory in Charlotte, and has averaged just 86.5 points per game in two straight losses in Boston.
